U-NITE Cup 2018

Our annual U-Nite Cup will kickoff on Sunday the 11th November.

MCSA has been successfully organizing this event with event partner Melbourne Victory for the past 5 consecutive years. This year, we welcome new event partner FFV on board to support this community tournament.

Teams from 16 communities are invited to participate. Each team must have only players from the same cultural and linguistic background as the community they are representing. All the group games, quarter-finals, and semi-finals will be played at the Darebin State Football Centre.

The final will be held at AAMI Park on Australia Day as a curtain raiser to Melbourne Victory’s home game against Sydney FC.

Due to the overwhelming interest, the tournament has been extended to accommodate 20 teams this year.

The objective of this community cohesion tournament is to build a stronger and inclusive multicultural community through affirmative action, to foster cross-cultural awareness, celebrate shared interests, and to engage the young people especially those from Victoria’s small and emerging communities.

MCSA is community football.
